A personal project, completed in partial fulfillment of my three-year degree, showcasing the ability to carry through a consistent design in various formats while simultaneously addressing a social issue.

The goals
The project brief presented a significant challenge in devising a compassionate and sensitive approach towards addressing a social problem that is often deemed taboo to discuss. Specifically, the issue at hand was domestic abuse.
The approach
The objective of the awareness campaign was to convey a powerful message that individuals who have experienced domestic abuse are not defined by their past and can emerge as resilient and empowered individuals. The campaign also aimed to encourage the community to take action and report incidents of domestic violence.
Innovative techniques such as integrating the concepts of “kintsugi” and origami to represent the transformation of imperfections into beauty served as a valuable reminder to think creatively and consider new approaches when designing campaigns for diverse audiences.
