About
I’m a Creative Digital Designer with 7+ years of experience in visual identity, brand communication, and digital marketing; and I enjoy what I do. My background spans both design and marketing, which means I don’t just think about how something looks; I think about what it needs to do. I bring creativity and strategy to the table in equal measure.
I work well under pressure, collaborate easily, and I don’t take feedback personaly; I know that great work comes from asking the right questions and staying open to new directions. Whether I’m working solo or as part of a team, I jump in with enthusiasm and stay focused on delivering results that truly hit the mark.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about photography, lifestyle, and the way luxury brands craft their identity. That curiosity keeps my eye sharp and my work fresh.
Right now, I’m expanding into UI/UX Design, expanding my skills in Figma, wireframing, prototyping, HTML and CSS while actively working toward my first dedicated UI/UX role.
Professional experience
I’m currently a Graphic Designer at North Tribe in Pretoria (Aug 2025 – present), working within a focused in-house team serving the medical and nutrition industries, where clarity and trust are at the heart of every design decision.
Before this, I spent four years at Numeral Group (Mar 2021 – Jul 2025) leading graphic design across 22 brands in the fintech, biotech, medical, and legal sectors. Highlights include supporting web and UX improvements that contributed to a 110% increase in interactions and a 42.9% rise in messaging for the flagship brand in a single quarter, working with brands including CryoSave, LNDR, RX Group, Umvuzo Health, and global fintech entrepreneur.
Earlier, at Global Leisure Group (Sep 2018 – Feb 2021), I handled product packaging, print collateral, point-of-sale design, and promotional materials for international brands including Megamaster, Nexgrill, and KitchenAid across the EMEA region.
I also completed a short role at Best Clothing and Gifts (May – Sep 2018), supporting the sales team with promotional branding and artwork finalisation, and gained early industry exposure through various internships between 2016 and 2018.
Education
My academic journey reflects the same drive and curiosity I bring to my work. I completed my Bachelor of Design in Graphic Design at Inscape Educational Group in 2017, studying full-time and building a strong foundation in visual communication and design thinking. Keen to keep growing, I went on to complete my Bachelor of Arts Honours in Design at Inscape in 2021, this time balancing part-time evening classes alongside full-time employment, which says a lot about how I approach a challenge.
Recognising the value of understanding the business side of design, I broadened my expertise further by completing a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing Management through IMM Graduate School in 2024, followed by a Bachelor of Philosophy Honours in Marketing Management at the same institution in 2025. This combination of design and marketing education gives me a distinctive perspective; I create work that is both visually compelling and strategically grounded.
